Professional Development Scholarship

The International Swimming Coaches Association (ISCA) and ProSwimWorkouts (PSW) have established a scholarship with the aim to support swim teams with the professional development of their staff. This grant is meant for young or beginning coaches giving them the opportunity to mingle among some of the most experienced coaches in our sport.

“The Hall of Fame Coaches Summit is an educational clinic for swim coaches and teachers from any country, organization or group. Speakers of varied backgrounds (NCAA, club, sport scientists and more) will present applicable information and answer your questions.”

ISCA Professional Development Scholarship
Coaches Bill Sweetenham and the late Bob Gillett.

The stipend will cover the registration cost for the summit, the cost for one of ISCA’s Education Program Courses (this year the topic is “Nutrition for Training and Competition“) offered on the first day as well as a ticket to the Hall of Fame Inductee Dinner and is open to coaches from anywhere in the world.

The 9th Annual Hall of Fame Coaches Summit will held from August 28th to August 31st, 2018 at the Hilton Hotel in Clearwater Beach. More details about the Summit such as event schedule or registration link can be found on the ISCA website.

This year’s winner has been chosen – there won’t be an application period in 2019.
