Stats & Memberships Report: September 2017

September has traditionally been the month where coaches get some “down time” before starting a new season and also spend some time to focus on their professional development while attending one of the many clinics taking place.

Coach Nico spent a few weeks on the road attending the ISCA Hall of Fame Coaches Clinic where PSW provided a scholarship to a young coach for the first time and met with coaches from around the world at the ASCA World Clinic. He also got to visit contributor Alexis Keto in Chicago and the IU Swim & Dive program in Bloomington. Coach Nico also participated in the GAIN Swimming conference at Carmel High School. You can hear about this trip and some impressions from the different events on the “What Makes a Good Clinic” Swim Brief Podcast episode.
