Feb 26, 2022 – Swim Regio Solothurn

Third Saturday morning “meet simulation” practice providing an opportunity for fast swimming to the athletes of our National & Junior National groups. “The racing formula” remained the same while we continued to change (“tweak”) the preparation and recovery parts.

Our average team performance this Saturday rose to 93% (in comparison to their PBs) – meaning we did have a few PBs this morning and overall better performances across the board.

Part 1 – Preparation:
500 as 150 free DPS, 100 back (25 kick, 75 swim)
6×50 free as 1x build & descend 1.-3., 1x pace (800-400-200P) @1′
100 easy as 50 back, 50 free breathe 5

300 choice as 50 kick, 100 drill
4×50 as 3x choice (35-25-15 FAST to sprint, finish easy), 1x free breathe 5 @1′
100 choice easy

Part 2 – Race:
200 choice MAX (heats; lanes 5-4-3)
600 choice easy (lane 6)

100 choice MAX (heats; lanes 5-4-3)
300 choice easy (lane 6)

50 choice MAX (heats; lanes 5-4-3)
150 choice easy (lane 6)

Part 3 – Recovery:
300 choice kick w/fins as 50 strong, 100 smooth
200 as 100 free breathe 3-5, 50 back, 50 free breathe 7
100 as 35 free no breath, 15 scull, 50 double arm back
