What target use fins in warm down?
The fins help them to stay at the aerobic pace that they need to work at after such a set as the “Countdown to Hell”. The kicking helps because they don’t have to swim full stroke being tired and most likely with poor technique. This day we did swim for time as it made sense with the whole workout and I believe it’s good to break out of the ordinary at times (we could just have done 800 meters instead).
