We use the anti-paddles instead of tennis balls or fist drill to “force” the athletes to focus on a fully applied “EVF” catching position…as many other things you do in warm-up however, this should help them work the feel for the water later in the session. Regarding the swim down – as you can see it was optional and not everyone did choose to do it.
