What target do you begin the training sets by using 15 pull?
Pre-set: 6 x 50 “Partner sprints” –> 15 pull, 10 easy, 10 push, 15 easy (switch position each 50) 200 Free breathe 3-5-7-9 by 50
The partner sprints have two athletes working together. One is in front, the other in the back holding on to the feet in front. Then it’s as simple as it is described – the one in front pulls for 15, then they swim 10 easy, followed by a push (kicking) from the second swimmer before finishing with 10 easy. The athletes switch their position, front or back, after each 50, so everyone gets to pull and kick fast.
