What is the Energy System that you use in speed training in min sets ?
With the athletes in Vevey, I wasn’t extremely focused on the energy systems…if things were fast, it meant fast but could be a different intensity for anybody in the pool on a given day with a different outcome. The Swiss use a scale that goes from K for recovery to V for sprints – most of my fast swim were somewhere in the S-V span which is long and short pace swim, lactate work or (pure) sprint sets.
