what is mean strong aerobic?
Means I don’t want the athletes to fiddle around and just making the intervals but go for it and swim strong as long as they stay in or close to their aerobic zone – rather have them et more rest than “bag” the set.
What is Energy System strong aerobic?
This is an interesting question for which I don’t have a good answer unless we know which energy system we base our training or terms off. I tend not to worry too much about this with my athletes – the more experienced ones, usually hit their “energy zones” just right for their workouts (or even go too hard); with the younger athletes you can always trick them into working harder or easier.
