What benefit beginning workouts 15 breakout sprint from dive?
Looking at this question from our current training base in South Africa and reflecting on it myself, I would probably define this as our “Cat/Lion Training”. At this point, they may have warmed up on land a little bit but nothing strenuous – starting with the breakout sprints right off the bat simulates how they might have to go about a race late in a competition where you don’t have a pool to do a second warm-up.
