Mixing relaxed aerobic and speed work this Thursday morning with the student-athletes of the sports class.
We continued our aerobic and stroke focus during this Tuesday morning workout with the student-athletes of the sports class. The session included some speed work through the first part and provided breast & fly “options” during the second part.
Meet simulation during this Saturday morning practice for the Senior and Junior group.
Mostly relaxed and low-end aerobic focused Thursday morning session with the student-athletes of the sports class finishing with some speed work.
Tuesday morning session with the student-athletes of the sports class mixing aerobic and stroke (fly & breast) work.
Our plan for this first week back in the pool with the full Senior team quickly went out of the window and we were only allowed back for our second workout this Saturday at noon.
With the start of the new month, we were finally able to bring our full Senior group back to pool training. Still restricted with fewer hours but now with a good “rhythm” alternating one day on land with one day in the pool.
Speed focused Thursday morning workout for the student athletes of the sports class “mirroring” their Tuesday morning session “reversing” the set of fast 25’s and changing the aerobic part.
Following the break over the winter holidays which provided us with more opportunities to train, we’re back to more “restrictions” and thus starting this week only on Tuesday with two fast workouts for the athletes in Solothurn.
Fast Saturday morning practice to close out this week of training for the Senior group mixing sprints, resisted and overspeed work. Using the two “calibration” parts to set up and reset for the fast efforts and finishing with a few minutes going through our float drills to calm down.
