Another recovery workout this time with some sprint work towards the end of the main set. Everybody of the group did the same workout this evening as we were still in the beginning of this taper phase . . .

What the reason mixedFree as 25 head-up, 75 PDS, 25 half human paddle drill, 25 straight arm recovery ?
The head-up drill will hopefully force them to focus on applying power on the EVF during the freestyle catch which they should then apply when swimming the 75 DPS. The two 25’s drill to finish up the 150’s are to “stretch out” their strokes below and above water (working on full range of motion).
