T2 Aquatics – Active Rest Prep Workout

This is a light active rest workout that I gave my post grads this morning. I like setting up 75s with some strong (but not all-out) 25s and 50s. This set worked very well! We had three post grads complete this set, and they all did a great job.

Tuesday December 3, 2013 – AM

5x: 50 Swim, 50 Kick, 50 Drill, 50 Pull

8×100 (135) – 50 Kick + 50 Swim

8×25 (40) – single arm free drills

8×75 (105) — pull; odds – 5th + evens 25 moderate + 50 fast

3x:
25 Stroke* (25) + 50 easy (55)
50 Stroke** (50) + 100 easy (150)
75 Stroke*** (115) + 150 easy (245)
4×50 (1) – 25 Swim + 25 Drill

8x: Wall Kick (:15) + rest (:30)

5×50 (115) – dive underwater 25 + 25 easy

WORKOUT TOTAL: 5000
