Attach the stretch cord (such at one you can find at http://www.nzmfg.com/products/sku/S11875.aspx) to a block and have your athletes swim out against it as far out as they can. We usually use the green or red ones depending on the strength of the athlete.
The sprint drill is a hyper focus of racing skills. You do a breakout sprint (15-18 meters) from a dive; rest swim in and out of the wall for a fast turn with underwaters and transition, rest again; and then swim into the wall again for a fast finish.
