We are in our second week of practices and this session has some basic skill development on butterfly as well as a simple little “Aerobic Acquisition” set. It has been awhile since my last post. I am excited to start sharing sessions again.

Sep 16, 2015 – T2 Aquatics – Active Rest Breast
Good active rest breaststroke main set morning workout this week! We missed doing this main set on Tuesday due to lightening, so we made it happen on Wednesday morning instead.

This was the first Saturday morning workout after the Short Course Championships. We really only took one day off after this meet as we had athletes getting ready for other meets in December . . .

Swimming for Weight Loss
“Over the last year I’ve began swimming 4-6 days a week in my local YMCA pool. I typically try to swim about 30-45 minutes. I’m looking to bump it to the next level. As in come up with a swimming routine that would help me lose about 15 pounds. I know diet has a lot to do with this also. Thanks for any help you can give.”
