This workout featured a FRIM pyramid for our main set. We followed this up by ending the practice with a short set that included a breathing pattern, over kicking and butterfly.

May 20, 2013 – Indiana University of Pennsylvania
This is the first practice of our 2013 Summer Training program. We will be training yards until after Memorial Day weekend – after the holiday we will switch to LC training in M,W,F mornings.

05/09/2013 PM – Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center (Schroeder North – Group 3)
This practice involved some active rest work. Specifically [50 + 50 Recovery Swim]s’ and [200 + 50 Recovery Swim]s’.
Normally, the athletes swim the animal kick set on Friday, but our team banquet (for this past short course season) was on Friday. Therefore animal kick was moved to tonight. I’m sure the athletes did not see that coming.
Cabrini Swimming Off Season Dryland Circuit
This is a dryland circuit we have out together for our team during the offseason. Every exercise is for a minute and you try to get in as many reps as you can – choose relatively light weights for max reps, but a weight that will still tire you out.

This is a short optional workout that we did with a few of our breaststrokers. The first main set involves a little maintenance freestyle using Fins and Tennis Balls.
T2 Aquatics – Active Rest Stroke Workout
This workout centers around an active rest stroke set. Use the set to work on the second 50 of a LCM 100.
