This is another morning workout from the Fighting Manatee Masters group in Islamorada. Only my second workout back in the water and it looked much easier than it actually was.

This is a workout I wrote for a handful of athletes from the Florida Keys Swim Club. Coach Jon Olsen wasn’t available for practice that day and I had the honour to step in and work with my former team.
Jan 6, 2013 – Vevey Natation (Camp Luxembourg)
Last workout of our training camp in Luxembourg. The goal for this workout was to get some loosen swimming done before the bus ride back to Vevey and have some fun with the relays at the end . . .

This is a morning workout from the Fighting Manatee Masters in Islamorada. Instead of the rest intervals, I used fixed intervals for the sets of 100’s making it quite a challenging session.
Jan 5, 2013 – Vevey Natation (Camp Luxembourg)
During this second half of the training camp we increased the amount of kicking quite a bit. This was supposed to be a 6k kick workout but I gave them the opportunity to put together a 4x200 fly relay with a get out time goal . . .

Rattler JO Group – Sprint 50 Set
The main set of this practice is a set I do roughly every two weeks or so and it is a teaching tool for my 12 and unders. I use the main set to teach how to train with intensity using their own 50 free times.
T2 Aquatics – Back into the Groove
We came back from our Sectional meet, swam the following day to the tune of a 3500 Kick/Pull practice, then got back into it with the following workout. We have one swimmer going to JRs, two to the US Open, and two to Zones.
Jan 4, 2013 – Vevey Natation (Camp Luxembourg)
After two days with an aerobic-kick focus it's time to get back to work and add some speed. Longer builds and short fast pace swims with sprints in the morning . . .
