Starting the week on Tuesday afternoon with some post-meet aerobic recovery focused work following a day off and three days of competing at the Arena Poseidon Team Cup in Lund.

Starting the week on Tuesday afternoon with some post-meet aerobic recovery focused work following a day off and three days of competing at the Arena Poseidon Team Cup in Lund.
“Lower volume” and a rather relaxed day of training for the Sharks. Mostly aerobic focused work including a few sprints during both sessions and providing two “bonus options” in the evening.
The SUMSIM group started this Thursday with an early morning circuit style workout and went through a speed focused session in the afternoon.
Threshold focused Wednesday for the Sharks. The morning workout was for our freestyle sprint specialist only and a little higher in intensity.
Mid-week threshold focused afternoon session with “short rest type” pace and speed work.
Aerobic focused and rather relaxed Tuesday for the Sharks. Switching gears during both sessions including pulling in the morning and kicking in the afternoon.
Aerobic focused day of training for the SUMSIM group with a circuit style session in the morning and a more “aerobic tempo” based workout in the afternoon.
Aerobic focused Monday evening session including some speed work to start the new week of training for the Sharks.
Sprint focused Monday afternoon finishing with a shorter & relaxed aerobic part to help with recovery.
Fast Saturday morning workout for the Sharks to finish this week of training. Today was a little more speed focused but as yesterday evening our aim was to work on threshold.
