Mar 8, 2018 – Islanders Aquatics – Aerobic/Anaerobic “Spice”
This workout is for our swimmers preparing for the 2018 Speedo Sectional Series in Buffalo, NY, March 22-25.
Feb 28, 2018 – Podium Swimming – High School Day 3
A higher intensity session with a little less volume. Good aerobic work throughout most of the session. In the main set, the swimmers have to have a goal on those 200 pace.
Feb 27, 2018 – Podium Swimming – High School Day 2
Picking up the intensity a little bit today. Faster efforts, and burst efforts on the agenda. Target rest intervals on the send-offs in the main set are :10-:15 with more rest when needed during some max effort swims.
Mar 3, 2018 – IA – Taper Phase 2
This is another example of our taper phase for Islanders Aquatics' National Team preparing for this March. In the main set we'll be focusing on some real/raw speed for the 500 freestyle & 200 IM . . .

These are two variations on what our team is preparing for this March. The first workout is much more intense and has a higher volume and range of intensity.
