Jose Cerda Aquatic Foundation (JCAF)

JCAF has been established to honor the memory of José Cerdá Navarro by benefiting the sports he loved, swimming and water polo. Their mission is to help teams improve competitiveness of their athletes and fostering unity across teams.

Jose Cerda Navarro passed away suddenly on October 26th, 2010; the day of his 18th birthday from an arrhythmia while swimming. As a Senior at Sycamore High School, José played on the Varsity Water Polo Team as the 2-meter position wearing Cap # 3 and was awarded honorary 1st Team All Ohio at the end of the 2010 season. He also was the backstroker for the Sycamore Varsity Swim team.

JCAF believes the best way to keep Jose’s memory alive is by helping young student athletes enjoy and learn about these wonderful sports. Contributions made it possible for JCAF to have benefited over 650 student athletes and contributed over $55,000 and more than 1,000 volunteer hours to support swimming and water polo since its inception in late 2010. Thank you for your invaluable support in building a legacy we can all be proud of, that José would have been proud of.

JCAF Announced as First Fan Zone Partner

We are excited to launch the Fan Zone and have JCAF join us as our first partner. The Fan Zone is ProSwimWorkouts’ own support system for organizations involved in making the swimming community stronger.

“JCAF is proud to partner with ProSwimWorkouts and immensely appreciates the opportunity to provide a long-lasting positive mark in the Community well beyond the immediate benefits to the sport José loved.” -Luisa N. Cerda

Fan Zone partner organizations will be able to raise money by referring premium members to ProSwimWorkouts.

ProSwimWorkouts was able to make several donations to help support JCAF’s mission.
Thanks to all of our premium members who make this possible!
