Morning practices at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center are combined masters, senior and advanced age group athletes. The main set works the aerobic/anaerobic energy systems and mixes in some 0 to 60 MPH speed work.
Good solid warm-up with a focus on IM, specifically the cross-over turn. Pre-set is off the blocks to get some dive work in. Main-set today is broken swims.
Light warm-up today and longer than average pre-set. Main set today is 30×100. The butterfly inclined athletes will swim butterfly, everyone else will swim freestyle.
