Thursday morning including again more sprint and stroke (fly or breast and medley) work for this short course session.
Hump day evening practice for the National & Junior National squad offering three options with an aerobic and speed focus for our “event groups”. Starting the session together with the first “speed block” before splitting into the different groups for more “individualize” work.
Aerobic and sprint focused short course Tuesday morning workout for the National & Junior National groups. Intervals on the sprints providing plenty of rest allowing high quality speed. Also continuing to include short fly swims mixed with breath control work for the aerobic parts.
Starting week two of our Christmas Training with an aerobic kicking focused workout including some short sprint work for the National & Junior National groups this Monday morning.
Last workout of the year with a short hour long aerobic focused session for the National & Junior National group including some longer swims and a couple quick sets of 100’s. Following another few days off over the year change, we will be back to a little more “intense” swimming.
Mid-week aerobic focused long course practice for the National & Junior National squad. This Wednesday evening we split into our “event groups” for the main chunk of work while we included common elements with the “speed sets” for all of the groups.
Mostly aerobic kicking focused morning workout including a few sprint sets for the National & Junior National groups on this Tuesday.
First day of our “Christmas Training” with an aerobic and drills focused Monday evening session for the National & Junior National groups. We will be slowly starting to incorporate “longer sets” and some butterfly work.
Aerobic focused Thursday morning practice for the student-athletes of the sports class integrating individual stroke work.
