Aerobic recovery focused Tuesday morning workout following the fast start into the new week the previous day.
Speed focused Monday afternoon to start this shorter week of training in Bergen as BS Elite will be heading to Luxembourg on Friday morning for a week long camp at the d’Coque.
Active recovery including a little bit of speed work for all athletes not in our training competition against Bergens Svømme Club this Saturday morning.
Aerobic and speed focused Friday with a regular morning session and a training competition against Bergens Svømme Club (BSC) in the afternoon.
We took the morning off to give our athletes some extra sleep and for some additional recovery. In the afternoon we focused on racing skills with two “timed blocks” working on starts and turns.
Mid-week threshold style afternoon workout for the Sharks. Not too much intensity and rather “relaxed” intervals to allow the athletes to work on their main strokes and swim at the right tempos.
Aerobic recovery focused Wednesday morning workout for BS Elite. We kept the team together for most of the session and only split into groups for the last part. As every week, they were off in the afternoon.
Shorter aerobic recovery focused Tuesday morning followed by a more intense and faster paced afternoon session with a mix of aerobic and speed work offering different options for our “event groups”.
Starting this new week with a shorter aerobic recovery focused Monday morning workout. The afternoon included more speed work again as we were training on the yards side of the pool.
Speed focused Saturday morning workout to close out this week of training. Everybody followed the same “idea and structure”, however, the execution was adapted to fit their events.
