Aerobic and sprint focused day of training starting with a bit of a longer session for the student-athletes of the sports class on this Thursday morning. Most of these athletes are competing in middle to distance events and thus benefit of the additional “volume”.

Kicking off this week with a fast Monday evening practice for most athletes of the National & Junior National groups. The workout included a lactate set as well as an “overspeed” effort and was cut short at the end as we run out of time after the recovery block during the last part of the session.

Thursday morning session for the student-athletes of the sports class with an aerobic and sprint focused session to prepare for the second lactate practice of the week with the rest of the team in the evening.

Hump day recovery evening practice for the National & Junior National groups including mostly relaxed aerobic work and starting “the taper phase” for the athletes getting ready to compete at Long Course Nationals.
