Monday morning starting with a 200 freestyle race pace workout for the University of Hawai’i Swimming & Diving team.
Tuesday evening workout with more threshold work for the Senior group in Solothurn. In similar fashion to yesterday’s practice, we increased the pace through the different sets and today finished with some “overspeed” work.
Full day of training from the University of Hawai’i Swimming & Diving team. This Thursday morning workout was catered to the 400 individual medley.
Threshold focused Monday evening workout for the Senior group in Solothurn. This is the last week of our anaerobic themed cycle as we will start to increase recovery going into Swiss Short Course Nationals.
Thursday doubles with an aerobic and main stroke focused morning session for our “sports class” athletes and the regular Senior group workout in the evening including recovery and skills.
Wednesday afternoon backstroke and butterfly tempo session including turn and resistance work from the University of Hawai’i Swimming & Diving team.
Aerobic focused Wednesday evening workout for the Senior group in Solothurn. Alternating between kicking, pulling, and swimming through the session while also providing different options for our “event groups”.
We gave the threshold work another go this Tuesday evening. The “vacuum” in the balloon had been fixed and although the “pressure” was still a little off, we had a much better practice with solid efforts on the intense sets.
First day following our holiday training and third week of threshold work starting with this Monday evening workout.
Last session of our fall holiday training finishing the week with an aerobic recovery focused workout this Saturday afternoon.
