Justin Correia has been coaching since 1997. He previously coached for three years as Head Swim Coach and Program Director at the Brandon Sports & Aquatic Center BlueWave swim team. Prior to there he was the Head Coach and Program director at Swim Macon Aquatic Club in Macon Georgia.
His accomplishments include 2009 Georgia Zone Team Head Coach, and he has produced Olympic Trial, Senior National, Junior National, NISCA All Americans, Junior Olympic, Senior Championship, Southern Sectional, Georgia Age Group, and High School and Senior State qualifiers. Justin’s swimmers have broken countless team records, Age Group Championship records and state records.
He is also involved in governance for Florida Swimming as the Co-Chairman for Diversity. Justin’s ideas have been published and he has spoken at the USS National Convention about team development.
A former Blue Wave team record holder and part of the 1993-94 Blue Wave Junior National Team, Justin trained as a swimmer under Coach Peter Banks. He attended the University of Florida and The University of South Florida where he majored in education. He and his wife, Vanessa have one son, Sebastian.
