Stroke focused workout from the Fighting Manatee Masters Swim Team in the Florida Keys.
This a “breaststroke” workout, with a fly bonus set. The breaststroke set incorporates a drill “2 on 2 under” as a major part of the set.
This workout is somewhat different for our team at this time of season. I felt it would be a nice change of pace compared to what we have been doing — which has been geared toward maintenance of aerobic capabilities, and an increase in “speed production” capabilities.
This workout was written for a beginner triathlete who needed some ideas to get a quick quality swim done without pushing him to hard, so he has energy left for the cycling and running that usually follow his pool time.
