Sprint focused day of training for the Senior & Junior group. During the morning workout with our student-athletes of the sports class we also included some low-end aerobic work.
Aerobic and sprint focused Thursday incorporating main stroke work in the morning with the sports class and plenty of kicking in the evening with the full team.
Short recovery and sprint focused Monday evening practice for the Junior and Senior group to kick-off this new week. The athletes were split into three groups with each of them starting their session with some stretching before jumping in the pool.
Aerobic focused Thursday including a few short sprints during the sports-class practice in the morning and working on active recovery in the evening.
Aerobic focused day of training starting with the morning session for our student-athletes of the sports class. Keeping the intensity down after the threshold workout the previous evening but including some short sprints.
Providing options for our athletes this Saturday morning. All “groups” had an aerobic focused session and they all started together with our “Point 0”.
Overall aerobic focused Thursday of training for the Junior & Senior group including speed work in the morning while swimming short course and splitting into groups during the long course evening practice for more “individualized” sets.
Overall aerobic and sprint focused day of training including some post-meet recovery in the evening. The morning workout was only for the athletes that didn’t compete over the weekend.
Friday morning workout starting with different sprints before a low-end aerobic focused part for some active recovery ahead of our meet over the weekend.
Hump day starting with a sprint focused morning session including aerobic elements for active recovery. Knowing that we were going to split up into our event groups for the evening session and get a little more volume training long course, we finished the morning workout with a “special” last part doing some vertical kicking and a few floating drills.
