February 2014 – Triathlon Team Roeselare

These are swim workouts we did with the Triathlon Team Roeselare (Belgium) in the month of February. Because the triathlon season begins only around May 1, these workouts are still done at an easy pace. But with some short distances at a strong pace.

We already had 3 easy months. Every 2 weeks we have a special technique workout (not contained in the workout file).

Workout Feb 4, 2014

Warm up:
1×500 easy swim
8×50 climax 1 to 4 R20″

Main set:
6×75 with paddles R20″
(25 breath 1/5 – 25 arms breaststroke and legs freestyle kick – 25 breath 1/7)
5×200 easy swim, every 4 length legs crossed R30″
1×300 kick with board (200 with fins – 100 without fins)

Swim down:
300 (100 free – 100 breast/back – 100 choice)

WORKOUT TOTAL: 2950
