What is mean ?UW open turns (-5/+5)
What effect Physiology use 15m sprint in swim down ?
Cruise speed basically means relaxed swimming (not slow swimming) – the exact intensity of this is individual and thus each athlete adapts when working cruise speed (main goal is to make interval). UW open turns (-5/+5) simply means that you do an open turn completely under water starting at the flags and staying under until passed the flags after the push-off. You could of course do regular flip turns under water as well and go longer (or shorter) with the UW work before and after the wall. What benefit beginning workouts paddles/ball ?
They’re anti-paddles, so similar to the athletes that prefer using tennis (or golf) balls. Takes away the surface of your hand and makes them focus on their catch using their whole forearm to apply force through their pull.
