Jul 2016 – PSA – Three Day Training Program

Session 2 on Tuesday afternoon was a power workout using stretch cords.

Tuesday PM – Power Workout

1 x 800m @ 11:30 choice swim with fins
8 x 25m @ :40 Fast kick with Fins

Power set using stretch cords in main stroke:
13 x stroke count swims concentrating on DPS and Stroke Rate!

4/6/8/10/12/14/16/14/12/10/8/6/4 stroke cycles per swim. Rest :30 to :45sec after each swim

16 x 100m @ 1:50 75 free, 25 scull
8 x 25m @1:00 Sprint main stroke with Fins and paddles
6 x 200m @ 3:10 75 fr, 25 bk, can be pull using buoy only.

> Swim down worst stroke with perfect technique, can be drill.

Workout Total: 4500
