March 2014 – Triathlon Team Roeselare

These are swim workouts we did with the Triathlon Team Roeselare (Belgium) in the month of March. Because the triathlon season begins only around May 1, these workouts are still done at an easy pace. But with some short distances at a strong pace.

We already had 3 easy months. Every 2 weeks we have a special technique workout (not contained in the workout file).

Workout Mar 1, 2014

Warm up:
400 easy swim
4×50 (25 tech – 25 free) R10″

Main set:
4×50 prog 1-4 R15″
6×150 (even 50’s: 50 free – 50 fists – 50 free // odd 50’s: 50 free – 50 IM per 12,5m – 50 free) R20″
300 kick with board (200 with fins – 100 without fins)
6×125 R20″ (100 @60% – 25 fly)

Swim down:
200 easy swim

WORKOUT TOTAL: 2950
