Starting the second week of this training cycle with a power and speed focused session.
Good aerobic session today. A little pace/quality and intensity thrown in here and there, but really just taking a little break for the most part and stretching it out.
Wednesday morning mid-week active recovery practice. Really low-intensity session, except for a few of the kicking repeats. There are also plenty of opportunities for the athletes to focus and work on technique . . .

Short Course low intensity aerobic focused session from day six of our first week of this training cycle.
Working on speed and IM today. Still some good efforts. On the speed set we want to get anaerobic a little bit, but with good recovery . . .

Short Course mixed skills session working on underwater kicking, stroke rate and stroke count during this fifth day of our first week of this training cycle.
We continue our taper – three full weeks of taper to be exact; so it’s not entirely easy at the beginning!
Overall a more relaxed second day of our last week in Tenerife with mostly aerobic focused work without going a lot of volume . . .
