Aerobic and sprint focused Tuesday evening workout for the National & Junior National groups to start this new week of training. Dryland continues to be an integral part of the practices this week.
Saturday morning providing two “options” with the majority of our National & Junior National groups going through a speed focused workout to close out their week of training while the few athletes competing at Open Water National Championships doing more aerobic focused work to prepare for their 3k swim in the lake on Sunday.
Recovery focused Friday evening session for the National & Junior National groups alternating relaxed aerobic swimming and kicking following our team stretch ahead of getting in the pool.
Practices for the National & Junior National groups looking quite similar every day during this first phase of our training at the start of the new season. Thursday evening session also mixing aerobic & speed work following the dryland.
Wednesday evening session for the National & Junior National groups continuing the mix of aerobic & speed work following our dryland. Today we took our speed work to the blocks including race dives and also incorporated some overspeed during the last set.

Recovery focused Friday afternoon practice for the National & Junior National groups offering two different options. Group 1 was for the sprint and stroke specialist while Group 2 was for our distance athletes.
Continuing the aerobic work this Thursday evening with the National & Junior National groups. You will notice that the sprint parts during these sessions are like “modules” that we keep reusing throughout this week.
