Third week of training for the Senior group focusing on overspeed as we’re heading into the first meet after the pandemic shutdown. Today’s evening session is integrating fly kicking and sprints.

Third week of training for the Senior group focusing on overspeed as we’re heading into the first meet after the pandemic shutdown. Today’s evening session is integrating fly kicking and sprints.
Short and easy aerobic Sunday evening workout for our Senior and Junior groups. We split into “event groups” during the second part to keep things a little more “individualized”.
Sprint focused Friday evening workout for the Senior group. We were also working on starts and thus most of the fast efforts were done from a dive.
Aerobic focused Thursday evening session following a “kick-pull-swim” pattern and integrating some short sprints.
Sprint focused Wednesday evening session incorporating race skills , specifically turns this week, and some short sets for active recovery.
Aerobic and speed focused Tuesday evening session integrating plenty of stroke work for the fast efforts and kicking for the “longer swims”.
Monday of the second week of training for the Senior group starting again with an aerobic and sprint focused evening workout integrating a good amount of fly kicking.
Relaxed aerobic Friday evening session including some short sprints. Mainly working on body position and freestyle technique through different repeats of 200’s.
Thursday evening session for the Senior group mixing our “focus points” of the two previous days incorporating underwater kicking and turn skills through the workout.
Sprint focused Wednesday evening session incorporating race skills (starts, turns, and finishes) and some kicking for active recovery – all three parts followed the same pattern
