Friday evening session for the Senior group starting with relaxed aerobic work and finishing with another short overspeed set for the second day in a row.
Sprint focused Saturday morning workout for the SUMSIM group. Allowing for “full recovery” (2-3′ rest) between all dive efforts and aiming to create a competitive atmosphere by racing same strokes or setting up “chase races”.
Thursday evening with a relaxed aerobic part and a short overspeed set for the Senior group.
Recovery focused Friday afternoon for the SUMSIM group. Integrating some “kick-pull-swim” patterns mixed with underwater kicking work through the first half before having some fun during the second half with another edition of our #FreePlayFriday initiative.
Plenty of speed and pace work this Tuesday for our Elite athletes preparing for the end of summer meets.
Wednesday evening with another short and relaxed swim for the Senior group. Four identical sets with repeat 50’s and 200’s kicking, drilling, and sculling.
Thursday early morning circuit session including short axis stroke work to prepare for another tough threshold and speed focused afternoon workout. Overall challenging day for the SUMSIM group with great efforts across the board.
Aerobic and sprint focused Monday for the “senior” athletes of the Elite group not preparing to race at Junior Nationals.
Short and relaxed Monday evening swim for the Senior group to start this new week of optional summer workouts.
Mid-week speed and recovery focused afternoon workout for the SUMSIM group. Starting with a short speed part including just a few fast 25’s before finishing with a “longer” aerobic part for active recovery.
