Shorter aerobic recovery focused Tuesday morning followed by a more intense and faster paced afternoon session with a mix of aerobic and speed work offering different options for our “event groups”.
Aerobic focused Tuesday with the morning including some sprints and the afternoon a little speed work as well as quite some kicking. We continue the neg.-splits on the aerobic parts and integrate more main stroke through the workout.

Technique and recovery on this Sunday in Bulgaria. Both pool sessions were only about an hour long followed by another hour of dryland working on mobility. In the morning we focused on long axis and the afternoon on short axis strokes.
Speed focused Saturday morning workout to close out this week of training. Everybody followed the same “idea and structure”, however, the execution was adapted to fit their events.
Mostly aerobic focused Friday afternoon session for the Sharks. “Switching gears” through some light tempo changes and negative split work including some sprints.
Overall aerobic focused Friday with longer swimming for BS Elite in the morning and different main parts for our “event groups” with the full team in the pool during the afternoon session.
Speed focused Saturday morning with lots of fast 25’s and not a whole lot of “warm-up” to get ready for it. Finishing the day in the pool with a short sprint before moving to core work for today’s dryland.
Aerobic focused Thursday of training for BS Elite with active recovery in mind as we start the “second cycle” of this week. We kept the group together through the first part before splitting into groups for both sessions today.
