PSA – Holiday Week 1 – Day 2

On a Tuesday night our Junior State team has a shorter than normal session. I wanted to increase volume over the holidays and did the following 5k session in an hour and 45 minutes.

Swimmers where aged between 11 and 13 years. For some this would be their second session of the day.

Session 3 (PM)

100 x 50m @ 1:00

  • 20 x free with fins
  • 10 x free kick with fins
  • 10 x fly/back focus on turns
  • 10 x breast/free focus on turns
  • 10 x back/free pull
  • 10 x breast/free with fins
  • 10 x shark fin with kick board between legs – focus on full tricep extension
  • 10 x main stroke kick
  • 10 x Race with fins!

Workout Total: 5000
