This morning we broke up into two groups. “Long-Sprinters” and “Short-Sprinters”. The main goal was two-fold. #1 work on being aggressive on the front end of our races and #2 work on attacking the middle of our races.

This practice involved some active rest work. Specifically [50 + 50 Recovery Swim]s’ and [200 + 50 Recovery Swim]s’.
Normally, the athletes swim the animal kick set on Friday, but our team banquet (for this past short course season) was on Friday. Therefore animal kick was moved to tonight. I’m sure the athletes did not see that coming.
