Nov 13, 2017 – Islanders Aquatics – Morning Power Into Enduring Speed

The afternoon practice is centered around the main set, which is the beginning of second cycle of distance (aerobic) test sets.

The athletes are asked to maintain their best average pace for 6 x 500 @ 7:30. I’ll be watching results closely to see the improvement (or lack of) from the last time we did this set in early October.

“We crave explanations for most everything, but innovation and progress happen when we allow ourselves to embrace uncertainty.”
