Monday of week two in Magglingen at BASPO for the athletes of Team Armee starting with an early active recovery swim.
On this Friday, we only had a short window in the morning before the official wake up and used the time for a quick active recovery workout in the pool.
Thursday was our second day in the pool including more aerobic and sprint work for all athletes and some of them were even doing short threshold type sets.
First week in Magglingen at BASPO for the new athletes joining the Team Armee. We weren’t able to train the first two days and were in the pool for the first time this Wednesday afternoon.
This is the very last session for the Army group completing our “taper” for Swiss Nationals in Uster. We were lucky to get into the pool ahead of all the other teams and have a lot of space for this workout.
Last Tuesday of training for the Army group before Swiss Nationals in Uster. Two real short taper sessions with some speed work in the morning and only recovery in the afternoon . . .

Starting the big championship week for the Army group athletes with an aerobic recovery focused session on Monday afternoon. We integrated a few short sprints and finished with individual parts . . .

Recovery focused "post-travel" Sunday afternoon workout at the championship pool in Uster. This week we took Saturday off and gave the athletes another day at home with their families before moving into our hotel for Swiss Nationals . . .

Championship Week continues with another “Race & Recovery” day of training for the group. Broken swims in the morning and only a short session to “finish” the recovery in afternoon.
Single afternoon session this Wednesday starting with some speed and aerobic recovery work. Kept the group together for the first part before splitting up and working more specific for each of the athlete's needs . . .
