Following my time working with the Elite squad in Uster, it took me a full week to get back in the pool myself. I made it early Monday afternoon to the Neufeld pool in Bern and decided to swim short course including short butterfly sets again.
Aerobic workout for the Masters group in Uster mixing sets of 50’s with some longer distance kicking or pulling options. Also included was our “Pick & Choose” part, allowing everybody to adapt this Friday evening to their liking.
This Thursday morning I was also aiming to focus a bit on efficiency and underwater kicking during my short swim following the early morning practice with the Elite squad in Uster.
On to week two for the Masters group in Uster with an aerobic evening session including a few short sprints as well as a couple tempo changes.

The Masters group in Uster has three practices a week and I’m in charge of Monday and Friday evenings. This was our second session together and I kept it mostly relaxed and aerobic focused.
Thursday morning broke my streak of the shorter daily swims following the practice of the Elite squad in Uster. However, I was back in the pool for another quick aerobic session on Friday.
