Relaxed aerobic focused Friday evening session for the National & Junior National group. This was our last practice as we took a 10 day break during the first week of the Spring holidays to provide the athletes some time away with family and real rest.

Fast Thursday evening session for the National & Junior National groups including a few speedy swims and a couple dive sprints as well as underwater kicking work. Everything else this evening was low-end aerobic work and used as prep or recovery.

Mid-week aerobic recovery focused evening workout for the National & Junior National groups. The session included individual drills to work on strokes and alternated kicking and pulling during the first and last part.

Aerobic and speed focused day of training starting with the morning practice for the student-athletes of the sports class including mostly short sprints. As last week, we did jump in half an hour later today and will not be doing a morning session on Thursday for extra rest this week.

Aerobic recovery focused Monday evening practice for the National & Junior National groups to start this “bonus week” as we have a few more of the younger athletes getting ready to race at the Regional Team Dual Meet in Yverdon.

Aerobic recovery focused Friday evening session for the National & Junior National group athletes including kicking, drilling and sculling. Although this was a little “higher” volume again, we kept things really low intensity and relaxed with intervals providing plenty of rest.

Fast day of training this Thursday for the National & Junior National group athletes starting with an aerobic and sprint focused workout for the student-athletes of the sports class. We started half an hour later again this morning for some extra sleep and all fast efforts had long rest intervals.

Relaxed recovery focused Wednesday evening workout for the National & Junior National groups. We included mostly aerobic and just a little bit of tempo work during the last part of the session building speed through the set of 50’s finishing with an easy speed effort.
