Mixing speed and overspeed work for this Friday evening session to continue the speed endurance focus for the Senior group in Solothurn.
Thursday evening workout including aerobic swimming and sprint kicking. Moving through three parts with just a small adaptation during the last one for our different groups.
Wednesday evening session with more speed endurance work for the Senior group in Solothurn.
Aerobic and kicking focused Tuesday evening session. A little bit of speed work during the first part before splitting into “event groups” for a short “main set”.
Fast start in the new week of training this Monday evening with a first attempt at a speed endurance type workout for the Senior group in Solothurn.
Really quick and short evening session with some fartlek work for the Senior group in Solothurn. The “main focus” this evening was our team meeting to talk about these first few weeks of training and all the changes.
Active recovery focused Thursday workout with two options for our “event groups” following a common first warm-up part. We started the evening with an active release session to support our recovery efforts before getting in the pool.
Speed focused Wednesday workout for the Senior group. Relatively short session in the pool with plenty of fast swimming following the dryland this evening.
Two short Tuesday sessions from the Senior group in Solothurn starting with some active recovery in the morning for our “student-athletes” and following up with aerobic and speed stroke work in the evening with the full team.
Starting this new week of training with an overspeed focused Monday evening workout. The weather forecast wasn’t great for most of this week, so we also planned for a little greater emphasis on the dry side before getting in the pool.
