This aerobic focused morning session from the Junior team was for our 200 stroke specialists. It’s part of a set of training sessions that were held with the Junior team during a 15-day preparation phase before a competition.

This workout from the Junior team pays particular attention to the butterfly stroke and can easily be adapted for backstroke or breaststroke specialists. It’s part of a set of training sessions that were held with the Junior team during a 15-day preparation session before a competition.
Last session ahead of the Junior Championships. Everybody was happy to have a swim in the competition pool before the start of the meet. The coaching staff had decided to “prescribe” the first part for all athletes and provide the option for additional “needs” on individual basis after completing the team warm-up.
Last day at our own pool with two recovery focused sessions including some sprint work in the morning to keep everybody sharp. Everything really is relaxed or fast these days leading into the championship meet.
This is a workout from the advanced group of our Junior team focusing on individual medley and turns.
Championship week starting with an optional Monday recovery session for all of our Junior athletes wanting to stay in touch with the water or wanting to stay on the competition schedule and get up and going in the morning.
Tuesday evening session for the Junior group including lots of favorite stroke combining aerobic and sprint work.
Final Saturday morning practice before Swiss Junior Nationals for our team. Another “early meet simulation” session with some shorter racing to get ready for the championship.
