This Tuesday we only had time for two short sessions in the pool – our regular early morning wake-up swim and another quick 1h in the late afternoon. With the last meet of the year coming up this weekend, we were incorporating more active recovery again and both workouts included low-end aerobic and sprint sets.
Closing out another week in Magglingen with an early Friday morning swim including relaxed aerobic work before the official wake-up.

Two shorter sessions this Tuesday mixing aerobic kicking and sprints. We are aiming to improve the underwater parts for our sprint athlete during these last couple weeks in Magglingen.
Mostly aerobic focused Tuesday evening workout from the Aloha Aquatica Pro Swim Team with two similar “main blocks” – one kicking, one swimming integrating increasing intensities and including a few short sprints.
On Wednesday they had a short early morning swim before the official wake-up and a weight session following a short instruction input. The afternoon was available for training and I provided this workout for our sprint focused athlete.
Sprint and skills focused Thursday morning workout from the Aloha Aquatica Pro Swim Team including a longer warm-up to prepare for the main part including many variations of short max efforts.
Aerobic focused Thursday afternoon for the Team Armee athletes including a sprint, an active recovery, and a skills (turns) emphasis depending on different needs at this time of the season.
