First day back after the Swiss Championships – starting our week with a short session using some of the “good feels & speed” for this post-meet “recovery” workout. It was an optional practice and we were missing a few athletes.

Jan 25, 2019 – Swiss Army Team
After our day off, we started the day with some stretching before the swim workout. This morning, we jumped in 1h "later" as we´re still on the "early schedule". Pretty relaxed workout in the pool followed by a gym session to "activate" our bodies for the afternoon . . .

Tuesday afternoon session preparing to compete at Swiss Championships with a “meet simulation” and a recovery part. This was our last workout at home as we were traveling the following day and simply took a quick dip to loosen up.

Wednesday with two "early" sessions for the group. Our schedule was changed for a few days - running an early morning (7AM) and afternoon (2PM) workout. Aerobic morning followed up with a first "race" practice in the afternoon . . .

Starting our "Championship Week" with a recovery focused Monday morning session at the pool in Uster. We'll have two more "touch & feel" workouts at home to finish our taper before heading to Geneva for the meet . . .

Overall aerobic day of training for the group starting their next mini-cycle at altitude. We will now slowly increase the overall intensity following the adaptation phase and add speed to the pool workouts . . .
