A harder workout from the Age Group club I work with. Longer warm up sets, and the main sets are broken out for the distance team, and the sprinters.

Mid-week stroke focused session with a longer two-part warm-up and "intermezzo" as well as a quick aerobic main set. We also spent time on relay exchanges at the end extending the short "sprint work" from the swim down . . .

Sep 19, 2016 – Podium Swimming – Distance Pacing and Threshold
A solid workout for the distance crew. Triathletes and Open Water swimmers all got this session. Some longer race pace efforts, so not a lot of volume.

As the athletes on the team that still had meets coming up had all left at this point and the rest of the team was slowly approaching Christmas Training, we did go back to some basic aerobic work for the next weeks . . .

Sep 22, 2016 – IUP Crimson Hawks
Early season afternoon workout with a focus on freestyle building up the aerobic and overall yardage. We use the “Body Glide” during warm-up to introduce and work on good body position off the block, strong core and full body streamline.
Nov 30, 2015 – Limmat Sharks Zurich
The Sharks starting out a new week of training with some simple aerobic and stroke work for the day's main set. We also took some time to work on body line and under waters during warm-up . . .
