Apr 30, 2016 – T2 Aquatics – Recycling Speed
This Long Course set will help an athlete train for a fast second 50 in their 100. I like how the 50s “feed the 100s”. The 100s tend to be pretty good on this set because there’s a 50, done quickly, 1:40-2:00 before it.

Some active recovery mixed with more intense circuit training work for this Wednesday afternoon session. Working in three groups, switching stations on every round. Pretty simple, yet fun session . . .

We’re starting our one week build up before we start taper for State meet here in Colorado. So to kick things off, we brought up the intensity and strength work.

Apr 30, 2016 – T2 Aquatics – National Group
We did our classic 8×400 last weekend with our National group. This is a great way to get some strong 400s out of the athletes. Ideally, the 400 Free IM is done in 5:05-5:35 (for my training group at T2).
May 2, 2016 – Ellesmere College Titans
Aerobic Monday morning session with recap on free skills work. We have turning poles which are in the pool and we can move them to anywhere and it makes the swimmers work under waters.
