Practice this morning was designed with a couple of goals in mind – hold technique to the highest standard and also experience some difficulty while adjusting to long course swimming. I remember doing this set way back when I swam for the legendary Coach Jack Nelson at the Fort Lauderdale Swim Team.

Tuesday afternoon was a “progression” of the workout the team did on Monday evening. A lot of familiar things in this session – something we did use quite often in this preparation cycle to allow for more “stability” and to “track” progress more easily.

Monday evening workout and start of another week of training for the team in Vevey. We were looking at the last couple of hard days in the pool as we prepared for our final meet on the weekend before Long Course Nationals two weeks later.
