Kicking off the new week for the Elite squad in Uster on Monday evening with some race pace work. Instructions for this practice were to provide the athletes with long rest and keep the fast efforts short distance.
Last practice of the week for the Elite squad in Uster on this Saturday morning with their second lactate session taking a bit of a different approach to broken swims during the fast efforts.
Friday evening session for the Elite squad in Uster providing them with a good mix of aerobic and sprint work.
Late Wednesday morning workout following a similar idea as yesterday’s swim starting with a relaxed first half leading into a short block and a quality set of butterfly work.

This is the Tuesday evening workout for some of the athletes of the SCU Elite squad and my first session working with them while substituting for Head Coach Gerard Moerland during the time he was away for a training camp.
Starting this new week in the pool on Tuesday with a relaxed aerobic post-lunch swim.
Wednesday post lunch swim including mostly aerobic freestyle and backstroke mixed with sets of 25’s butterfly. Back in the short course pool today, I got rid of the fins after the first block.
